In-Store & Online Shopping

General Plumbing Supply is serving you from over 20 locations and 14 showrooms* throughout New Jersey and New York. Our branches are open from 7 am to 5 pm with some having hours until 1 pm on Saturdays. Our showrooms are open from Monday – Saturday with varying hours. If you need an item that isn’t on our website, please contact us. We will most likely be able to find the product that you need. Please note that we are only able to obtain items made by manufacturers that we currently carry. In some cases, the item has been discontinued and can be directly replaced by an item available on our site. Please contact us at 1-800-225-5477  or sales@generalplumbingsupply.net  for pricing and availability information and allow 24-48 hours for pricing and availability quotes on these items.
Yes. Orders can be placed online 24 hours a day. Our customer service team is available by phone 8am – 5pm EST Monday – Friday.
Once you have placed an order, you will receive an email confirmation including your order details. This email lets you know that the order is currently being processed. You can also log in to your account and search for the order number. The status will be displayed.
General or defective returns are accepted for items purchased from General Plumbing Supply. We accept general returns up to 30 days after receipt and defective returns up to 90 days. There’s no minimum value on returns. Store credit may apply. For more information on qualifications for general and defective returns, click here .

Shipping

Smaller items are shipped Standard Ground and will be delivered an estimated 5 to 7 business days after the product leaves the warehouse. Our chosen provider is UPS, but we may use FedEx or USPS under certain circumstances. For larger items that require truck delivery, your product will be delivered curbside via Freight Carrier. Lift gate and additional insurance are extra. We will let you know the total shipping cost before the product is shipped out if additional options are requested.

For LTL shipments, insurance will be added for the items value. Due to the cost of some items, LTL shipment rates are subject to change if additional insurance is necessary (expedited shipping methods are available for an additional cost). All LTL shipments will include residential delivery with call-ahead service and lift gate. Insurance will also be included.

Please note, we do not ship on weekends, all orders are processed within 1-2 business days. General Plumbing Supply is not responsible for any damages. All claims for damage must be filed with the carrier and noted on the bill of lading.
Shipping charges are calculated based on a combination of the products purchased, shipping address, and shipment methods while taking into account any applicable promotional shipping offers. Shipping costs are subject to change if an error in package size/ weight is found. Customers will be notified in writing of all changes and will have the right to cancel the order if they do not accept the additional charges. To determine your charges: add the product(s) to your shopping cart, go to the Checkout Page and type in the shipping zip codes.

Free Shipping: Orders that qualify for free shipping are those in value of at least $350 and qualify for UPS ground shipments. Free shipping does not apply to oversize items that must ship out via LTL, or other methods or items that weigh over 20lbs. General Plumbing Supply reserves the right to modify and adjust this program, and to cancel the customer’s order if there has been an error in calculations when determining freight charges.

Our chosen provider is UPS, but we may use FedEx or USPS under certain circumstances. After you place your order, you will receive a tracking number via email. There will be a link in the email taking you to your tracking information.
